Basswood Construction began in 2009, founded by the father-and-son team of Ron and Jordan Bass, at a time when the country was just starting to recover from the nationwide recession. With a keen eye on the rough and finish carpentry industry, they recognized a gap: clients needed faster, more precise, and professional construction services.

What started as a small operation in Chicago, remodeling homes with just a single employee, quickly evolved. Driven by a commitment to excellence and a hands-on approach, Basswood Construction expanded from residential projects to multi-unit buildings, gradually taking on larger and more complex projects across the country.

Today, Basswood Construction proudly operates nationwide with over 150 dedicated employees. With our own cranes, equipment, and resources, we are capable of delivering projects of any scale — from custom homes to 410-unit apartment complexes — always maintaining the speed, efficiency, and accuracy that set us apart from the start.
